Autumn photo competition – ’90 years of rambling’
With the Ramblers’ 90th anniversary coming up this winter, we’d love to see your favourite rambling photos from years gone by. Send in your snaps of you, your loved ones or your walking group enjoying the great outdoors from the 1930s to the 2020s. We’ll include a selection of the best in the digital winter edition of walk, and the sender of the judges’ favourite pic will win a relaxing getaway courtesy of Classic Lodges.

This fantastic prize is a two-night stay for two at your choice of eight Classic Lodges hotels.
The dinner, bed and breakfast prize is based on two people sharing a classic room for two nights, with a three-course dinner on one night and breakfast on both mornings included. The prize can be taken at any of the following Classic Lodges hotels:

Terms and conditions
The closing date is 11 October 2024. The senders of the judges’ favourite entry (one winner only), submitted on or before the closing date, will win.
Entry is open to residents of the UK except employees (and their families) of The Ramblers, its partners and agents, the suppliers of the prizes and any other companies associated with the competition. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition, and entrants may submit multiple photos. The entrant must be the creator and copyright owner of each photograph they submit. Photos may be digitally enhanced, but images generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence will be disqualified. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.
The prizes are as stated, are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition. In the event of a prize being unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
The winner and finalists agree to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of county of residence and will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by The Ramblers relating to any post-winning publicity. By entering this competition and submitting a photograph, entrants are giving permission for The Ramblers to use it to promote the work of The Ramblers in perpetuity.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, or is unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the runner-up selected by the same judges. Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.
