We are a friendly, informal group formed in 1966 with around 250 members.
Our walks
We are very fortunate to have the magnificent Chilterns scenery and the panoramic Vale of Aylesbury on our doorstep. Most of our walks are in our local Buckinghamshire area though we do extend to Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire and occasional walks in London.
We have walks to suit everyone. Tuesday walks are about 4 miles at no faster than 2 miles per hour average. Thursday walks tend to be 6 - 9 miles at a somewhat faster pace. Sunday walks can be up to 14 miles.
Join us
It is not necessary to be a member to join in a walk - just turn up on the day. If you enjoy the walks and want to continue walking with us, we ask that you join the Ramblers' Association to give us your support. The times shown are the actual start times so please arrive a few minutes early, to get booted up and for a short briefing.
What to bring
You'll need strong boots, shoes or trainers and warm and/or waterproof clothing, depending on the weather. But remember it can be very muddy particularly outside of the summer months and walking-pole(s) can be helpful. You may also want to bring a drink and a snack. (Bananas seem to be a favourite with us!)

Photos
Note: We sometimes take photos on our walks and may publish these on our own websites. Our external website only contains scenic photos - no people included. Our, restricted. members website can contain photos of people for the post walk / event enjoyment of our membership. If you do not wish to be included on such photos please make this known on the day of the walk / event. Thank you.
