We are the Black Country Young Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From the Black Pool car park we'll follow the Climbing Jack Trail. This trail takes in most of Mortimer Forest and offers a good mix of terrain and a couple of viewpoints.
This is a 9 mile circular walk though it can be cut short by a couple of miles if needed.
This walk is dog friendly but you must keep your dog under control as the forest is home to deer and ground nesting birds.
There are no facilities available at Mortimer Forest. Please bring a packed lunch.
