We’re a Ramblers group aimed mainly at people in their 20s, 30s and slightly older, offering led walks and social events across Herts, Beds and south Cambs.
Join Stag Walkers to celebrate the festive season with the finest Christmas lunch at The Old George pub in the village of Ickleford, just north of Hitchin, following a short morning walk (separate event) which will be confirmed later in due course.
Whilst tucking in to a delicious festive feast, you can enjoy a few drinks inside a beautifully decorated bar in a cosy setting beside a roasting warm log fire and a pretty Christmas tree!

Please note the meal is limited to those who have purchased Ramblers membership. We have arranged with the pub to have our Christmas meal at 2pm on Sunday 15th December.

Limited parking is available in front of the pub. Alternatively, you can park considerately on the side of the road along Arlesey Rd and other surrounding streets.
Booking your place
Click the 'Attend' button on the Stag Walkers Meetup event page from Monday 14th October at 18:00 BST if you would like to secure your place or to join the Waitlist if spaces are full.
Please then fill in our spreadsheet to place your pre-order meal options by 31st October (23:59 GMT) and transfer the deposit to the Stag Walkers account as detailed on the Meetup event page.
Please note this event is only open to members who have purchased Ramblers membership and that deposits are non-refundable if you are unable to make it on the day.

Stag Walkers is a Ramblers group aimed mainly at people in their 20s and 30s but all are welcome and we have members of all ages. We run weekly walks, on Saturdays or Sundays, varying in length from around 5 to 15 miles, and we host regular social nights. Walks and socials generally take place across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and south Cambridgeshire.
