An undulating walk with extensive views starting in Oliver's Battery, heading over Shawford Down to Shawford and Twyford and then following the Monarch's Way and The Pilgrims' Trail across Twyford Down to St. Catherine's Hill. We return to Oliver's Battery on The Clarendon Way.
There are no stiles but there will be mud after rain! There are a couple of chalky descents so you may want to bring poles if you use them.
This is a picnic walk so please bring snacks, drinks and lunch.
Please let the leader know if you want to join this walk as we may leave when all known walkers have arrived.
Oliver's Battery Recreation Ground, Texas Drive There is also on street parking inn the area if the car park is full (unlikely)
