Overview

Join the CYW as we retrace the inaugural steps of our group 25 years ago! Starting at Amersham Station we will walk through the beautiful Chiltern countryside on a linear walk to Great Missenden. Please bring a packed lunch.

The route takes us from Amersham Station to Amersham Old Town where we follow the South Bucks Way past Shardeloes and follow the River Misbourne to Little Missenden. From Little Missenden, we cross the A413 climbing through woodland to Hyde Heath, also crossing the HS2 tunnels and continuing via St Peter and St Paul's Church into the centre of Great Missenden.

Note: Although the walk is linear, we will return to the start point via the train. If you are joining us on the train back to Amersham at the end if the walk I'm going to buy some tickets in advance. Its also cheaper, £3.56 after cashback instead of £6. If you are definitely coming and would like a ticket in advance, please message me.

After the walk, we will celebrate the group's 25th Birthday with a social in Amersham at the Metro Lounge 4pm-9pm
