Join the CYW as we retrace the inaugural steps of our group 25 years ago! Starting at Amersham Station we will walk through the beautiful Chiltern countryside on a linear walk to Great Missenden. Please bring a packed lunch.
The route takes us from Amersham Station to Amersham Old Town where we follow the South Bucks Way past Shardeloes and follow the River Misbourne to Little Missenden. From Little Missenden, we cross the A413 climbing through woodland to Hyde Heath, also crossing the HS2 tunnels and continuing via St Peter and St Paul's Church into the centre of Great Missenden.
From Great Missenden, we will return to Amersham by train (tickets cost £6, group save £3.95 for 3 or more purchased together).
After the walk, we will celebrate the group's 25th Birthday with a social in Amersham at the Metro Lounge 5pm-10pm
