Overview

A circular walk from Braunston along the Jurassic Way/Via Beata to the beautiful villages of Ashby St Leodegarius and Welton. The Manor house in Ashby was owned by the mother of Robert Catesby of Gunpowder plot fame. From Welton we join the Grand Union Canal at the entrance to Braunston Tunnel and follow a pocket park before crossing the A461 and joining the "horse path" over the top of the tunnel back to Braunston.
