Overview

A circular walk from the lovely village of Duddington via the Jurrassic Way to Fineshade Abbey, Wakerley Great Wood and Wakerley. Then along the Rutland Round by the River Welland to Tixover and back to Duddington. Possibly a coffee stop at Top Lodge.

Initially a gentle climb via forest tracks up to Top Lodge and Fineshade Abbey. Forest tracks through Wakerley Woods and easy walking by the river from Wakerley to Tixover and back to Duddington  A few stiles, no ploughed fields Two crossings of the busy A43. Main road (A47) back to Duddington has the old road for easy walking.
