Overview

We begin the walk at the Memorial Garden, site of the school which was destroyed in the Aberfan disaster. We then head off to the Trevithick and onto the Taff trail, stopping for coffee at the Pont Gwaith nature reserve. We then cross the historic Pont Gwaith (workers bridge) and head back towards Aberfan. We pass the cemetery for an optional visit of graves, before returning to the car park.
