Up past the dramatic Falls of Acharn with the Victorian 'Hermit's Cave'. Continue up to join the Rob Roy Way/Queen's Drive. The Queen's Drive is so called because it was used by young Queen Victoria while she and Prince Albert stayed with the Marquess of Breadalbane at Taymouth Castle in 1842. Follow the drive to the Remony Burn. Optional out and back to the Acharn stone circle, which is arguably the best-positioned in Perthshire and commands breath-taking views across Loch Tay towards Ben Lawers and Schiehallion. Cross the burn and continue along the Queen's Drive to meet the quiet road from Glen Quaich. Steeply down this road to Loch Tay. Follow the quiet road along the South side of Loch Tay back to Acharn.
