The second of two walks today from the same starting point giving you the flexibility of joining us for either two shorter walks or one long walk.
We will start by crossing the impressive Hambleden lock allowing us to take in a unique view point of the River Thames . This will lead us to the the Thames Path which we will follow all the way to the beautiful riverside town of Henley on Thames.
Henley is well known for its rowing community so as we walk the famous Thames path we will be sure to enjoy seeing plenty of people out on the water.
Be sure to also be on the look out for plenty of wild life, after all these are the river banks that inspired The Wind in The Willows.
On arrival to Henley we will cross the River again and venture through the town for some Ice cream or your preferred refreshment, heading back to the riverside for a well earned break.
We will break for a little while before starting our walk back along the river heading into open fields before passing the Flower Pot Pub. Here we will have the opportunity for a pub stop and a chance to see the flower Pots very unique interior.
Now very refreshed it is a short walk back across the Lock to our start point.
I love meeting everyone's four legged friends so this walk is dog friendly but ask you keep them under control and on a lead at all times for the comfort of everyone in the group.
Hopefully we will enjoy nice weather for the walk so please bring plenty of water.
