Overview

An airy, 7.5-mile walk largely comprised of open fields, paddocks and pastures. Paths which are only mildly undulating enable vistas of the rolling countryside.  The route begins at the green in Hardwick, leading through a woody dell to Weedon and pàssing through the village before crossing large fields to reach Rowsham. Here we take to a very short stretch of pavement (!) on the A418 and turn north to Aston Abbotts to follow a long, open and gently descending path back to Hardwick. Please bring refreshments for one stop.
