This is a pleasant meander up the Tyne on riverside, woodland and farmland tracks, with a great view of Hailes Castle then through the green spaces of Haddington. The riverside path from East Linton can be uneven underfoot. There are some steps along the riverside.
Haddington is full of history, having been a royal burgh since at least 1138 and the county town of East Lothian.
We will use bus from Haddington to East Linton and then walk back along the river to Haddington. Please take your bus passes if you have one.
Please contact the walk leader Cath Norman (07801 354754) is you want to join the walk.
Please contact Hilda (07879 076039) if you want to share a car.
