We are the Arun-Adur Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This walk is being led by James Sainsbury, a local archaeologist who will give an insight into the paths we often walk. The walk will be on the South Downs around Burpham. Due to the nature of the walk, the pace will be very leisurely with lots of stops as James points out the highlights and gives us the history of the landscape. Due to the standing about, you may wish to bring an additional layer.
BOOKING (and payment) ESSENTIAL
This walk is part of the social programme and there is a charge as we have to pay the Archaeologist for his time and skills. The cost is £6.50 and details of how to book and pay can be found on the attached link to the Arun-Adur Group Social Page.
We will meet at the car park for The George at Burpham, BN18 9RR. Please arrive in good time for the walk to be able to start at 9.30 promptly.
Following the walk, there is the opportunity for refreshments in the pub.
