This walk starts and finishes in the village of Ardeley - well known for its thatched cottages surrounding the village green which has a roofed water pump at its center.
The walk starts in the farm car park. The farm is well known for its not for profit community interest, providing work experience for people with mental and physical disabilities.
The halfway point of the route is Benington - another attractive village which is famous for its snowdrops in February, and bluebells, daffodils and primroses along the route at other times.
We welcome any type of walker as this is a popular route, only 6 miles so can be leisurely, and dogs welcome.
