Overview

We will be doing a bit of up and down on this north side of the forest. There is heathland with some lovely views, woods, a bit of the Avon Valley Path with some glimpses of the Avon River, cottages and fields. The tracks and paths are mainly dry though there is a swampy bit of about 200 yards which we will need to negotiate. If the weather turns particularly wet, there is a plan B for this bit. There is also some good solid lane walking - very quiet.

There are are 3 stiles and 3 streams with fords. So good boots and poles are helpful.
