We are Herts Weekend Walkers, HWW for Short . We are aimed at people aged in their 40s, 50s & 60s who are normally working during the week and can usually only find time to get outside and enjoy a walk at the weekend.

Winter at Ashridge.
A varied and undulating walk, starting from Ashridge House and descending to the Golden Valley then the Gade Valley, via Hudnall Common. We return through Little Gaddesden and Ashridge Park.
Mud is to be expected at this time of year so please wear appropriate footwear.
After the walk, refreshments are available at the Bakehouse (time permitting) or the Bridgewater Arms.
No need to pre-book or contact the leader in advance. If already a Ramblers member, please just bring your Ramblers card (or membership details on the app) to help speed up the Ramblers register before we start the walk.
