Overview

Join us to follow ancient routes through glorious English countryside with breath taking views, hedgerows full of bird song, Chiltern beechwoods and an ancient 13th century church.

Wednesday, 26 June 2024
Start time:
10:30 am
Estimated finish time:
4:30 pm
Difficulty:
Moderate
Distance:
17.7km / 11.0mi
Ascent:
349.6m / 1147ft
Type:
circular

There are 3 steep climbs and at least 3 stiles.

Some of the woodland paths were still quite muddy on 6 June, so I would recommend good walking boots, especially if there has been more rain in the week(s) before the walk.

There are no toilet facilities or cafes or pubs enroute so bring a picnic and ‘comfort breaks’ will be alfresco.
