We are the Castle Bromwich Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk includes canal walking, wooded areas, paths and tracks. We will pause for our morning break at the Purley Chase Centre where a drink and cake can be acquired for an appropriate donation. Please note that you will be expected to remove muddy boots or use boot covers before entering the centre. Our lunch stop will be at Hartshill Hayes Country Park. There are some inclines but no stiles.
After lunch we will follow a track which will take us back onto the canal. The Red Lion is good either for Sunday Lunch or a drink if you want to stay on in Atherstone.

When reaching Atherstone, at mini island turn left into Station Street, Cattle Market Long Stay car park on left. No charge for parking.
