Overview

8 mile circular route starting and finishing at Anstey Park.   Walking along the River Wey, across Neatham Down through East and West Worldham and the Truncheaunts.   Mainly on public footpaths across open farmland.   Some syles.   Rolling countryside route.  A 15 minute or so refreshment break about half way (please bring your own refreshments).   Lots of excellent views looking across the Hampshire countryside.

Start on Anstey Park, Alton.  Head SE across Mill Lane to track on the S side of the River Wey.   Take A31  underepass at Neatham to Manor Farm.  S to the E of Monks Wood joining Hangers Way to East Worldham.   SSW to West Worldham then N (heading back to Alton) through Truncheaunts; NE along Truncheaunts Lane past The Hampshire Equine Clinic to B3004.  Left (NNW) on B3004 to the railway bridge.  Right (NE) along track on the N side of the River Wey, through Newman Industrial Estate then NNW back to Anstey Park.
