Overview

Hello Everyone 

Baggeridge Country Park and the surrounding area is our destination for this Sunday's walk should you fancy a day out with Chase & District Ramblers Group. John & Jen lead this one which apart from the park includes a nature reserve, an old railway trackbed, a little road walking on housing estate footpaths, and a return via nearby Himley Hall.

Facilities available at the start and also at lunchtime.

Post walk socials at a local establishment as per usual. We'll sort that out on the day.

Directions. Primarily for our own members or anyone arriving via Wolverhampton on the A449.

From your home location pick up the A460 and head to Wolverhampton where take the ring road direction A449 for Kidderminster through all the various islands. Once off the ring road continue on the A449 for 3.5 miles via Lower Penn to the the island junction with the A463 where turn left signed here for Sedgley, Walsall, and Baggeridge Country Park.

After 1.2 miles on the A463 enter Gospel End and turn right at the 30mph sign into Baggeridge Country Park. Proceed for 700 yards and turn left into the car park area.
