Start Point: 09:15am for ‘meet & greet’

The Cairns Walk Balmoral is located in the Balmoral Estate near Balmoral Castle, which is the Royal Family’s preferred holiday home and was the favourite residence of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The walk visits 9 of the 11 stone cairns on the estate of Balmoral Castle in Deeside. The cairns commemorate members of the British royal family and events in their lives.

With nice woodland trails and fine views over the Deeside hills from the high points.

Good walking boots are essential, gaiters, waterproof jacket and trousers and poles are advised for the decent. Bring food and drink.

All walkers must carry some form of ICE (In Case of Emergency) identification. This includes your name, mobile number and next of kin contact name and number.

Sorry, no dogs allowed on this walk.

Toilets: there are no toilets on the route.
