Overview

Coastal walk from Bamburgh to Budle Bay, then inland, returning along St Oswald’s Way via Spindlestoneheugh and Brada Hill, then the England coastal path through the Golf Course. N.B. the precise route will depend on tides, details of which will not be known until 1 week before the walk.

The walk will mainly be on well-marked paths, following the England Coastal Path or St Oswalds Way. If the tides allow, there will be a significant level of beach walking. Gradual inclines + one possible steep descent onto the beach. Only one stile. Grade: Moderate.

There will be a refreshment stop en-route and a late lunch stop on Brada Hill, with its panoramic views towards the Castle and the Farne Islands beyond. If time permits, there are various options for post- walk refreshments in the centre of the village.
