It is many years since Hillingdon ramblers offered a bank holiday walk but here is one which should be heaving with bluebells by Easter Monday. Woodlands, at their best at this time of year, field paths and village lanes in and out of and up and down the Chess valley with some lovely views over this familiar countryside.
Expect a few hills, (good training for Hillingdon's imminent Exmoor trip) and plenty of photo opportunities. Weather permitting, lunch in the middle of a bluebell wood and a pub in the afternoon.
