Overview

Join us to walk in South Derbyshire farmland and National Forest near the River Trent, and establish good habits for staying active and well in 2025.

The group does not stop at cafes or pubs for lunch, so  bring enough food and drinks with you to last the whole walk. We usually stop for a coffee break an hour or so into the walk, and have a packed lunch around 1230-1300, although weather and suitable locations may affect both timings.

The walk leader has assessed this walk for the following risks, but during the walk others may become evident.  You will come stiles, gates and other path furniture, hedges etc.  You may come across road crossings, fields with crops, muddy/slippery sections, farm livestock & warning signs.  You should remain stay alert and take individual responsibility.
