Directions Take the A831over the Lovat Bridge south of Beauly, follow signpost to Balblair/Struy/Cannich, continue driving a further 1.25miles and then follow the signpost on left to Kiltarlity and Eskadale, This takes you across the Black bridge, where the car park is, left hand side.
Route Our walk crosses over the Black bridge and into a lovely stretch of oak woodland until we reach the Beauly river. Continuing along this good riverside track with some stretches back into woodland and then back walking along the riverside, with a glimpse of Beaufort Castle. On reaching the Lovat bridge, turn left and short road walk before cutting back to woodland and a meandering path passing the Beauly sub station (mostly hidden) and quarry returns us to our original track and back to our vehicles. Easy walking in a lovely area, possibly muddy in places. Option to walk a further 1k (there and back) to Kilmorack Power Station at the end of our walk, this would start from the car park
