Overview

Join me for a leisurely circular walk in the South Ouzel Valley from Woolstone along the river towards Caldecotte Lake which we will skim the edge of as we walk back along the Grand Union Canal, through pretty Woughton on the Green.  We will stop for a break half way so bring any refreshments you may need.  Meet in the car park on Newport Road in Woolstone (MK15 OAA).  Go past The Barge and the Cross Keys pubs to the car park on the left just before the old chapel and The Old Rectory (house on the right).  There are several car parks on this road so if there are no walkers you may be in the wrong one! DUE TO FLOODING IN THE AREA WE MAY HAVE TO FIND ALTERNATIVE PATHWAYS. PLEASE WEAR WATERPROOF BOOTS OR WELLIES OR BRING SPARE SOCKS!! AS THERE MAY STILL BE LARGE PUDDLES.
