Overview

This easy walk explores the nature and wildlife of Beddington Park together with a look at its history, and today’s usage.
Starting at the Carew Manor wetlands, the walk then proceeds past Carew Manor to St. Mary’s Church and then into the main part of the park with paths running alongside the River Wandle. Two lakes, the remains of old formal gardens, tree avenues, a little woodland and grassland paths complete the walk.
Nature guide points and noticeboard information are plentiful.
Afterwards an optional lunch or snack is available at the Pavilion Café or St Mary’s Tower café.

A less than normal paced walk incorporating stops to look at the surroundings and wildlife.
