Sunday 3rd September 2023 – Ben Vrackie (Corbett) and Killiecrankie Circular
The walk starts in a car park off lane just north west of Moulin (Pitlochry). The ascent of Ben Vrackie follows good paths through woodland, open moorland and past the picturesque Loch a' Choire.
When Loch a' Choire is reached a steep climb to the 841m summit on stepping stones begins (a so called Bealach Walk that omits the climb to the summit is possible if another leader is available).
The return from the summit is back down to Loch a' Choire; from here the walk takes us over heather moorland and pastures towards the Killiecrankie visitor center.
Return to Moulin is via the Pass of Killiecrankie and woodland tracks.
