Overview

A walk around Bristol, taking in the Harbourside, the Suspension Bridge, Clifton, Brandon Hill and Queens Square.

We will be walking on mainly hard surfaces with one uphill section through woodland which may be muddy.

Well behaved dogs welcome if kept on leads for the whole of the route. (please contact the leader before the day of the walk).

Outward trains to Bristol Temple Meads

From Weymouth ETD 07.33, ETA 09.49 (does not stop at Avoncliff or Freshford)

Return trains from Bristol Temple Meads

To Weymouth 16.03 (stops at Freshford and Avoncliff)

Most railway stations along the line do not have toilets, including Weymouth, so if needed, its advisable to use the train toilets before alighting

Whilst the walks are risk assessed and may be changed at short notice if necessary, for your health and wellbeing we recommend that you wear good walking boot/shoes, consider if you need trekking poles, and bring sufficient food/drink for the walk.
