Overview

C WALK DESCRIPTION: 7 miles, 665 ft ascent. No stiles. We start and finish at Ribbesford near the Blackstone Riverside Park just south of Bewdley. We head north past Ribbesford church and then enter Snuffmill dingle on the outskirts of Bewdley. There are some steep steps to descend but there is a handrail. We will take a break before  crossing open fields and entering  the Wyre Forest Nature Reserve when we pass through Ruskin Land. We descend to Dowles Brook for a break at Knowles Mill. The afternoon follows Dowles Brook as it joins the River Severn into Bewdley where we should have time to explore pubs, cafes, shops or just enjoy relaxing by the river. The final section is about a mile along the riverbank to our start point.
