Cars required.  This walk is accessible (just) by public transport with a little pre-walk.  Catch the #12 bus and get off at the "Bishopstone Road" bus stop .  Then just over a half mile walk to the start along Bishopstone road (there is also a footpath nearby which adds a little more time).  Please allow plenty of time to reach the start point before 10.30.
