Starting at 10am, this is a 10.5 mile, strenuous walk in the Blackdown Hills with wonderful views in an area that may be quite unexplored for many of us, (yes Dave…when it’s not foggy!).
There are a couple of steep climbs and sections that can get quite muddy so would suggest good boots and walking poles.
We will be visiting Culmstock Beacon and The Wellington Monument along the way. Hopefully, it should be open if anyone wants to pay to climb to the top!
Parking is at the Wellington Hill Car Park which is National Trust and can be paid for using cash or a parking app or free to members.
