Blackness Circular 6.5 miles, Leisurely(C)

A lovely leisurely woodland and shore walk past Blackness Castle, Midhope Castle (may be a short detour if shooting is taking place on Hopetoun Estate), Abercorn Church, skirting the Hopetoun Estate then back to Blackness by the John Muir Way. Mostly tracks and paths with a short minor road section. May be muddy in places. Some inclines but nothing too steep.
Meet at Midlothian Indoor Bowling Club for 9.30 am departure or at the Square in Blackness, EH49 7NG for 10.15 am. Please note there is limited parking in Blackness so please car share if possible. Estimated finish time 2pm. Option for coffee at Rouken Glen Garden Centre afterwards.
