We are the Romsey Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
With its quiet woodland paths; open farmland and long stretch of shoreline this is a walk. with lots of variety It incorporates much of the popular Lepe Loop path, details of which can be found at https://www.lepe.org.uk/public-access/the-lepe-loop
Walkers need to be aware of the c1.5 miles of shingle as we walk west from Lepe. Walkers can, if they prefer, walk along the road that runs parallel with the route.
There is a small number of stiles but all are in good order and not difficult to negotiate.

Romsey Rapids rear car park adjacent to the Romsey Town FC pitch fence for possible car share. Please contact the walk leader if you require a lift.
Darkwater car park, Exbury Road, Blackfield. Travelling south through Blackfield, turn right into Exbury Road. Ignore the first car park on the left and continue around a lefthand bend and over a bridge. The car park is to the right about 100m past the bridge.
