This leisurely Blue Plague Trail celebrates people who have either lived in or influenced the seaside towns of Bognor Regis and Felpham including but not limited to Mary Wheatland, James Joyce, Dante Gabriel Rossetti and William Blake. Starting from the promenade opposite the Waverley Pub we head eastward towards the Pier. Continuing along the promenade we take a left turn towards the town and and several Blue Plaques before returning to the seafront and heading towards and circling Felpham then walking westward towards the town and the parked cars.
Parking along Marine Drive West which is to the west of the Waverley Pub is free at this time of year. Alternatively, the 600 bus from Chichester stops near the junction of Aldwick Rd and Nyewood Lane, a short walk from the Waverley Pub on the corner where Nyewood Lane meets Marine Drive West.
