Overview

Moderately paced 10 mile linear walk.  

Route: (Map: E147, L188) from Borough Green to Sevenoaks station over undulating but varied and attractive terrain via Plaxtol, Fairlawne Park, Ightham Mote, Stone Street and Knole Park. Can be very muddy in places.

Lunch Stop: National Trust café at Ightham Mote - or bring picnic.

Meet at Borough Green & Wrotham Station at 10:15.

Travel: Charing Cross 09.29/Waterloo East 09.32/Lon Bridge 09.38 (Southeastern Maidstone East train via Swanley).
Check trains the day before.

Ticket/Fare: Buy return to Borough Green & Wrotham.

Finish: Sevenoaks Station at about 3.30 pm.
