Overview

Embark on a delightful walk through the picturesque Boxmoor Estate with Chiltern Young Walkers. Our route will take us through the following highlights:

  • Roughdown Common: Enjoy the landscape as we cross the railway and walk up through the common.
  • Sheethanger Common: Wander through this beautiful area and take in the natural beauty.
  • Bury Wood: Stroll through the woods and embrace the peaceful surroundings.
  • Little Hay Golf Complex: We turn north and walk through this well-maintained golf course.
  • Bourne End: Reaching the village before heading back to the station along the canal.

After the walk, there's an optional stop for a drink at the Fishery Inn.

This walk includes some hills but is suitable for beginners and those looking for a leisurely stroll.
