Join us for a riverside walk alongside the Little Ouse through the picturesque village of Santon Downham in Suffolk and further bucolic views of the Thetford Forest countryside on the route on to Thetford in Norfolk.
The route is a renowned haunt of the increasingly uncommon Cuckoo, the calls of which were heard during the reconnoitre for this walk.
Bring your own lunch & morning snack/drink. There will be a toilet/refreshment break after an hour at Santon Downham. Food/drinks will be available at the Railway Tavern at the end of the walk.
