Overview

A winter walk around this attractive Lancashire village. The walk will begin by passing through the village then use quiet country lanes and rights of way, including along the banks of the River Douglas, to reach Bank Bridge. We shall then pass through the grounds of Bank Hall and again through the village to return to our starting point. The cafe in the Old Corn Mill Antiques centre will be open before and after the walk. The village is well known for its show of snowdrops in February especially in the grounds of Bank Hall.
