The walk starts in the village of Brockenhurst and takes you through the beautiful countryside and forests of the New Forest National Park. A highlight are the majestic redwoods and firs that were planted in the 1850s to create the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive for the nearby Rhinefield House.
Much of the route is on gravel paths. No stiles.
Bring a packed lunch. Tea shop in Brockenhurst at the end if time.
Meet at Basingstoke railway at 8.30am to catch 8.49am train to Brockenhurst arriving at 9.37am. Walk starts from Brockenhurst railway station at 9.45am.
