A walk in the hills between the Vale of Leven and the Clyde estuary. We visit a Scottish baronial style Victorian mansion, the site of a Pictish fort and walk along a "coffin route".
We walk along the Renton road to the entrance to Dalmoak House and then head to the trig point on Renton Muir by way of Dick’s Pond. From the trig point we ascend to a Pictish fort on Carman Muir before crossing Overton Muir and Bromley Muir to join the path over Stoneymollan Muir to Balloch.
We will return to Dalreoch by train
