We are the Romsey Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We start the walk along some of the footpaths around the village before taking the climb towards the top of Broughton Down where we pass through the mixed woodland along the top of the ridge. Views to the north, through the trees, are spectacular. From here, we head back downhill to Broughton Down Farm on our way back to Broughton.
The routes to and from Broughton Down are along chalky byways, which can be very slippery when damp or wet - walking poles and good footwear are strongly advised.
Please bring a drink and snack for a mid-walk break.
