Overview

This is a lovely walk which starts on the John Buchan Way before climbing onto Broughton Heights where wonderful views open up in all directions. After reaching Wether Law, the route skirts the woodland, passing over Brown Dod and Flint Hill before returning to the John Buchan Way at Stobo Hopehead.

On the Ramblers grading scale this walk is classed as 'Moderate', whiuch is in this case equivalent to Biggar's grade B+. Poles will be needed, and as part of the walk is through heather and is in part boggy, gaitors are advised.
