Overview

We will be wending our way through the old village of Broughton with it's interesting old cottages and gardens, skirted by crystal clear chalk streams. Then we'll turn off onto the Clarendon Way and make our way up this old drovers track with great views down to the valleys. We skirt the village of Houghton and our coffee stop will be in the Churchyard there so bring refreshments. We return to Broughton along another drovers track through fields with big skies. Expect to see daffodils and primroses and greening up hedgerows with tweeting birdies.

The tracks are mostly very solid underfoot and the ascents and descents are gentle.
