NLSH Ramblers is a really friendly group, whose members all share a love of walking and the countryside. You’ll always receive a warm welcome from us, whether you want to walk with us regularly or from time to time.
A moderately paced walk through ancient woodland and Broxbourne National Nature Reserve, including part of the Hertfordshire Way and Roman Ermine Street.
Bring a picnic. We shall have a brief lunchtime pub stop at Hertford Heath.
There will be several muddy sections, so walking poles are recommended.
Optional car share from Barnet, Victors Way car park, EN5 5TR; depart at 9.20 a.m. (11 miles)
Broxbourne Woods (East) car park, Pembridge Lane. Go north from White Stubbs Lane along Pembridge Lane. At the T-junction turn right, then immediately left into the car park.
