A two valleys walk from Burwash, passing Batemans towards the end.
Our recce was done with snow and ice around, and the mud had a pleasing plasticity ! If it is warmer, then there will be some mud and wet parts, though a good deal of the walk is on quiet lanes and tracks. Only five or six stiles, the first being a little dodgy ! The walk has a good few ups and downs, totalling 370+m, but we get ( if its clear ) fabulous views from Brightling and lovely woods at Lower Leggetts.
The toilets in the car park at Burwash were open, though the car park is pretty busy.
