We are the wensum Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
There will be 2 walks both starting from the car park in Nowton Park on the outskirts of Bury St. Edmunds. Toilets available there. The long walk of 6 miles will be out of the park Southward to Sicklesmere arriving at the Rushbrooke Arms for lunch. The short walk of 3 miles will be within the park after which the coach will take the walkers to the pub.
After lunch the afternoon walkers will walk back into the centre of Bury while the coach will bring everyone else to a drop off point at the North end corner of Angel Hill. From this point, close to the Registry Office, the coach will depart at 1630.
