We are the Deeside Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We will meet at 09:30 to take the No. 11 bus (double decker) from Flint Bus Stand to Holywell.
We will then walk from Holywell back to Flint via the Coast Path.
If you have a "60+" Bus Pass issued by Transport for Wales then this is an opportunity to use it.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Car Parking
Be aware of new parking restrictions at Flintshire Retail Park that can result in hefty penalties if you exceed the free 3 hours stay. To avoid this please park at Jade Jones Leisure Centre CH6 5ER (Pay & Display, £1:70 all day) and walk 250m (3 minutes) down Earl Street to the bus stop.
Dogs
Deeside Group has a policy of not allowing dogs on its walks. Registered assistance dogs may be permitted, but only by prior arrangement with the walk leader.
