Southport Ramblers welcome all age groups from 8 to 80+ for fortnightly worry-free walking (travelling by coach) with like-minded people throughout the year.
We will be parking the coach at Boundary Mill, giving those who wish to spend the day (or part of it) shopping. For those going on one of today's walks your leaders may take you along Colne Water or the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. North to White Moor or East towards Trawden. With high and low level walks available, we should have a good day out whatever the weather.
There walks will be available with details circulated on the coach. They will range from easy to strenuous depending on the walk selected.
A Walk Leader - Dave White
B Walk Leader - Dave Eccles - 9 to 9.5 miles with a total ascent of 915ft. A circular walk starting at Boundary Mill passing Barrowford Reservoir, along Wanless Water (a canal), around Foulridge Lower Reservoir, open fields. Then woodland back into Colne via the banks of Colne Water and woodland.
